Short History Lesson
Crescent-Dreams.net was purchased November 11, 2003 as a birthday gift to my self. I had originally intended to devoted the domain to hosting web sites free of cost for those who couldn't afford their own hosting plans. The following April 2004 Crescent-Dreams.net had been transformed into a Resource site, we still offered free hosting upon which we made a name for our selves.For over a year we continued to grow and at rapid speed so much so we began to take on staff to help us manage the site.
October 2005 Crescent-Dreams.net started to experience many issues with our hosting provider influxhost.net, they had experienced several hackings and many of their servers were corrupted in which caused every site they hosted to be lost completely. Though this is an unfortunate event the provider expressed little to no sympathy to many of it's clients, including ourselves. They were down for nearly 3 consecutive months, they promised week after week that they would be back up and running and would compensate everyone for the inconvenience, yet later reneged upon and forced us to close Crescent-Dreams.net entirely.
August 2006 Crescent Dreams was re developed under the domain Crescent-Dreams.com as well as a new hosting provider, dreamhost.net. With a new start we opted to return to the realm of resources and hosting and from there grew once again. When we returned we started from scratch and had to build a name for ourselves once again, doing so by offering free hosting.
July 2007 our hosting package had expired as had many of our other domains, we were forced to terminate many of our hosting clients with much dismay. Crescent-Dreams.com was thought to be closed yet again, however a very kind (sexy) man by the name of Kevin, who just happened to be Manda's (me) boyfriend offered to host the web site on his own plan. In doing so he saved the domain from having to close, however we were not allowed to continue our free hosting of which we had been known for.
November 2007 Crescent-Dreams.com is still a productively growing web site that offers a variety of content, doesn't matter how many times we've moved, (might I add has been a lot over 5 times since July 2007 alone) we continue to provide quality resources in hope to make those who wish to build web sites a little easier.
