A pre existing site that is complete, we will not host you unless you can show us what it is you plan on using our web space for. Make sure your site is organized, easy to navigate and depending on the category it contains a decent amount of content.
An understanding as to how FTP works, either an FTP client or IE. If you do not know FTP we suggest you learn it before you apply for hosting. We will not teach you.
Quality, appeasing to both our self’s and visitors. The amount of visitors you receive isn’t an issue it’s the quality of the content on your site, even if it’s a blog your design skill and organization should be well represented. Should your site be thrown together using cropped imaged and sloppy Iframes you application will be denied.
Your site should function in both IE and Mozilla and show equal quality to the content on your site. Meaning, if you supply graphics your pre made content should be just as good as your main design and your main design like your pre made content. Make sure you test your sites compatibility with browsers before you apply.
Your site should be well maintained and updated frequently, no less than 2 times a month. Should you go a full 30 days with out updating your site, be it a simple text update stating your alive your ftp account will be terminated. Do not apply for hosting unless you plan on being somewhat dedicated to your site.
The design you use to represent your site should be created by you, staff or a gift. We need to know you have the ability to maintain your site with out the constant need of outside help. Pre made designs are nice but we want to uphold a certain standard and expect our ‘clients’ to maintain their own sites.
You should have a substantial amount of content depending on the category of your site, that way visitors have something to gaze upon as they browse your site.
Domain Requirements

You need to provide us with a pre existing domain or be willing to make a payment of $12.00 USD, so one can be created for you. Should you purchase a domain though us depending on the [dot] address you are requesting pricing may very. The $12.00 fee is based of standard .com, .net and .org address. Should you request another [dot] address we suggest you do your research to determine the specific cost of that [dot] address.
Please review standard requirements before proceeding though the following. Standard requirements are the basic guidelines for us to determine the status of your application.
Should you be approved for hosting you will need to change your DNS (Domain Name Server) so your domain will function on our server.
We ask that you do not take in any hostees as this is space we are providing is for you and you alone. We didn’t provide you space for your domain just so you could sublet it to others.
If you wish to sell your domain while being hosted here, remember that space is not included from our side, unless the money actually goes to Crescent Dreams.

Setting Up, Hiatus Or Transferring
You will have 1 week to set your site up. If you fail to set your site up in the allowed time your ftp account will be terminated and you will have to re apply for hosting. Keep in mind, just because you re apply doesn’t mean you’ll be accepted.
If you are going to take a hiatus you need to inform us at least 1 week before you do so as well as the amount of time you will be taking off from your site. Time for a hiatus is limited to 1 month, exceptions can be made so long as you have a logical reason. Even during a hiatus you must display our link for hosting or sponsorship, you also need to notify us when you take your site off the hiatus. Do not apply for hosting if you plan on putting your site on hiatus right away!
Should you decide to change host or close your site you should inform us before you do so! From the time you give us notice you will have 3 days to backup your content and or display a moved/closed sign before the account will be deleted, no exceptions!
Prohibited
Improper spelling styles or excessive slang.
Hentai or any other in appropriate content.
Redistributing stolen content or failing to give proper credits.
Racial, hate, nazist, satanical and obscene/profane material.
Files: .bmp, .mp3, .avi, .wav, .midi, or any other multimedia-files

Things You Need To Ask For
You need to request an Email address, I will not create one unless you plan on using it. You'll be allowed 2-4 Email address depending on wither or not you are on a sub domain or domain hosting plan. All Email addresses will coincided with the domain you are hosted on.
IE: If you are hosted on Crescent-Dreams.com your email address will be you@crescent-dreams.com.
If you would like a MySQL account you need to request it. I will need a name for your MySQL account, your login information will be the same as your ftp login. You will be allowed 1-2 MySQL accounts depending on wither or not you are on a sub domain or domain hosting plan.
Have a question? Ask me, I won't bite. If you heed help you need to ask other wise your only missing out on what you could know. I don't mind helping you with setting up your account, telling you how to re code something or anything for that matter. I'm here to help you and 90% of the time I'll get back to you with in a few hours. If I can't fix a problem or answer a question for you I'll try my hardest to find the answer my self elsewhere. What's the point of being hosted if your not given the tech support you are with a free server?
Questions & Answers
Q. Why cant I log into my FTP account?
A. Try double checking your information. Sometimes I make mistakes relaying login information back to you, that’s a bad mistake on my part but it does happen. Try to remember what it is you submitted to me when you applied for hosting. If that doesn’t solve the problem please email me, sometimes registration of the sub domain doesn’t activate.
Q. Can you host another site for me?
A. Yes, you are allowed to have more than one hosted sub domain if you would like. All you have to do is email me the sub domain you would like. You have a private ftp account, it’s sort of like having a personal hosting plan. You only have to access one ftp account to get to all of your websites. In addition, for every additional sub domain you have you will be granted 250 MB of space and 1 GB of transfer.
Q. Could you sponsor one site for me and host another?
A. Yes, I can sponsor one site for you and host another. All you have to do is email the sub domain you would like. You have a private ftp account, it’s sort of like having a personal hosting plan. You only have to access one ftp account to get to all of your websites. In addition, for every additional sub domain you have you will be granted 250 MB of space and 1 GB of transfer.
Q. Do I have to link you on every page or just my credits section?
A. If you are hosted on a sub domain or sponsored plan you must link Crescent Dreams on every page. Be it a button or text link. However if you are on a domain plan you do not need to link Crescent Dreams on every page, a credits section is fine.
Q. Do I need to keep in contact?
A. Yes, you need to keep in contact with me on a regular basis, at least once a week. I’d like to have a friendship with everyone I host and sponsor. I make sure to visit all my hosted and sponsored sites on a weekly basis, it would be nice if you could do the same.
Q. Will you help advertise my site?
A. Since I already link your site, that’s already a help. Though for more extensive help or a perk, if you comment on our updates you will be linked back in a plug in our following update. You could also join our network site; Honey Vanity, our topsite listing. Both will provide you free advertisement.
Q. How do I get a hold of you if I need help?
A. There are two ways to get a hold of me, one of which being though our contact form another would be though email. I am online nightly and I make sure to check my email the moment I sign on, so chances are if you email me I’ll get back to you with in a few hours.
Q. Oh no! What happened to my ftp account?
A. In the unlikely manner you find that you know your login information is correct but you can not enter your ftp and all of your content on the account isn't working, meaning you cant view your site or the sponsor files aren't working. There is a chance your ftp account was deleted, this would have taken place because you've broken our rules. Now we try to warn people before we delete their accounts but there are times when we can't and don't know how to get a hold of you to tell you what you need to correct in the allowed time. With that being said as stated though our requirements sections we reserve the right to terminate your account with little to no warning. If you would like us to explain to you why it is we've terminated your account you may contact us, and if we feel that the situation can be resolved in a peaceful manner we may offer to host or sponsor you once more.
Q. Is the $12.00 domain fee a onetime payment, also how do we make a payment and what currency?
A. When you decide to purchase a domain though us you are making an initial payment of $12.00, the yearly cost. You will own the domain for one year, there after every year you will have to make an additional payment of $12.00 (should you choose to renew the domain after the initial one year registration). Payments for the registration for the domain name can be made one of two ways; via paypal or postal mail. All payments need to be USD currency.To arrange a payment transaction you need to contact me via email, contact form or state it in your hosting application. You are responsible for making your domain payments even if you change host midstream though your registration. All transactions are final and will not be refunded for any reason, if you are under the age of 18 you are required to acquire your parents/guardians written permission for us to purchase the domain name (we don't want angry parents hunting us down). The Fine Print
If you fail to; maintain your site on a regular basis, can not abide by our requirements or are caught stealing the content of other sites, your site can and will be terminated with little to no warning.
If at any point you encounter problems that require our help or we feel the need to inspect your content for security and or violations, we are allowed to access your ftp account without prior permission to asses the topic at hand.
We recommend backing up your site content for personal reasons, accidents happen and it’s not our responsibility.
We reserve the right to collect any means of advertisement in the form of graphics with our sites name and or logo on it, with or with out prior permission.
